THE Red Arrows made a return to North Wales yesterday (June 8) on their way to show off their spectacular aerobatic displays in the Isle of Man.
Flying from RAF Waddington in Lincoln, the Red Arrows arrived at RAF Valley yesterday afternoon, which they used as a base for their performance at the Isle of Man TT races.
En route, they flew over parts of Denbighshire, Conwy and Gwynedd before coming in to land at RAF Valley at 3.24pm.
They then left Anglesey at 7.15pm last night for their Isle of Man display, before returning about an hour later.
The Red Arrows are due to take off from RAF Valley at 10.30am this morning as they begin their return journey to RAF Waddington.

RAF Valley said: “Always a delight to host the Red Arrows at Valley.
“They were all with us in plenty of time - ahead of their short hop across Liverpool Bay to perform over the crowds assembled in Douglas, Isle of Man, in honour of their TT races this evening.
“We are justly proud to provide all the engineering support at Valley for both the Hawk T1 used by the Reds, and our own Hawk T2.
“Judging by the crowds and cameras in our dedicated spotter's car park today, word soon got around, and many were able to enjoy the Reds’ arrival with the good weather.”

The Red Arrows will return to North Wales on the bank holiday weekend of August 26-27, when they perform their displays at both days of the annual Rhyl Air Show.
They appeared at last year’s event, using Hawarden Airport as their base.
Last August, they also delighted residents of North Wales when they flew over the region as part of their RAF Valley flypast.
This was part of the RAF's aerobatics team's RAF Shawbury to North Wales, and then to Lincoln, flypast, for the late afternoon and evening.
