THE OPENING of the new PureGym in Bangor is just days away, with the final touches being put in place.

The gym chain is being opened on the site of the former Aldi store, which closed in the summer to relocate to a new premises on Caernarfon Road.

PureGym is the UK’s largest gym company, and will open the site on November 18.

The gym will include hundreds of pieces of state-of-the-art equipment, classes and personal trainers, opening for 24 hours a day.

It will also create eight new jobs, with some vacancies remaining for fitness coaches and personal trainers.
