THE Barclays bank building on Pwllheli High Street has gone up for sale, with the bank 15 years into a 20-year lease of the premises.
The property has gone on the market with estate agent Savills for £110,000, with Barclays the tenant on the ground floor, for which they pay £13,875 per annum.
Barclays is signed up to a 20-year lease on the property, due to expire in 2027.
The Pwllheli site has become even more important after the banking giant’s closure of its Caernarfon, Dolgellau and Porthmadog branches in recent years.

The Dolgellau branch closed last month, which has made the Pwllheli branch the nearest for customers in Dolgellau and other towns and villages in the area.
It is now one of just two Barclays branches in Gwynedd, with the other in Bangor.
The Barclays branch in Llangefni, Anglesey is set to shut in three days' time.
