WELL-KNOWN TV presenter Timmy Mallett stopped by the Trearddur Bay Hotel in Holyhead as he cycles around the UK.
Mallett, who topped the music charts with a remake of ‘Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini’ in 1990, is also a keen cyclist and painter.
The former I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant is currently riding around the UK to raise awareness for those with Downs Syndrome, inspired by his older brother Martin who has Downs.

The staff at the Trearddur Bay Hotel in Holyhead were pleasantly surprised to welcome him, and in a Facebook post the hotel said: “We had the pleasure of welcoming the legend, Mr Timmy Mallett to the Trearddur Bay Hotel.
“He has been cycling around the UK to raise awareness of #reachingourpotential #downssyndrome.
“He is an absolute gentleman and we wish him all of the best on his onward journey.”
Mr Mallett also visited other landmarks on Anglesey, such as the Menai Suspension Bridge and Beaumaris Castle (below).
