LLANDUDNO Albion have pulled off a coup with the signings of Ben and Elliot Jarvis.

The Lock Stock Ardal Northern League side are looking to mount a title challenge next term and have bolstered their squad significantly with the acquisition of the brother duo, who join the set-up after standout spells with Glan Conwy.

The twins played an instrumental role in Glan’s outstanding first season back at Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One level, where they emerged as the third tier's surprise package after a series of outstanding results.

With Howard Vaughan’s men now opting for demotion after deciding not to comply with the new Tier 3 criteria being implemented by the Football Association of Wales ahead of next season, the Jarvis’ decided to leave the club in favour of staying at a high level of competition.

Elliot is one of the region’s brightest young goalkeeping prospects and was at the top of his game for Glan last season, with Ben providing a commanding presence in the middle of the park that is going to be of significant use for his new side.

Albion manager Darren Jones, said: “I am pleased to have got Ben and Elliot in and committed for the new season.

“Both lads were excellent for Glan Conwy last year and will certainly improve our squad and bring more competition to the goalkeepers and midfielders.

“Elliot is an excellent shot-stopper, very good with his feet and has good distribution whilst Ben is an all energy competitive midfielder, good on the ball and a threat in the final third.”

This is the latest in a series of exciting developments at Albion in recent weeks, with last season’s squad all re-committing for the upcoming campaign to further boost their chances of promotion.
