BALA TOWN Football Club have confirmed their official coaching team for the 2020/21 Cymru Premier season.

Manager Colin Caton, Stephen Fisher (assistant), Ryan Valentine (coach), Harri Lloyd (goalkeeper coach) and Ffiona Evans (physiotherapist) have all agreed to stay with the Lakesiders for the forthcoming season.

Manager Caton gave his thoughts about his backroom staff, saying: “I’m delighted to work with Steve again. We’ve been together for 16 years and I don’t think there’s another partnership in the League that can match that and our working relationship is fantastic.

"Without Steve, Bala wouldn’t have achieved half as much as we have so I’m very happy to work with him. He’s a top friend of mine.

“Ryan Valentine brings so much experience, it’s second to none and we are extremely happy to keep him. Both him and Steve have captained the team over the years and we always look to recruit within. They have the Club at heart and I’m really looking forward to the new season with the both of them.

“Harri is an up and coming goalkeeping coach. He did a brilliant job with Josh Tibbetts last season and he’ll be working alongside Alex Ramsay and another goalkeeper that will come in. He’s got really good, fresh ideas, he mixes well with the lads, it’s a great coup for us that he’s stayed on.

“Finally we have Ffi – she is absolutely fantastic. She works so hard especially during this Covid pandemic to try and get us back into training ahead of the Europa League game on August 27. She’s been with us for a couple of seasons now and I was delighted to see her commit.

“That’s the coaching staff and the team that’s going to drive us onto what will hopefully be a successful season. I’d like to thank them all for committing back to the Club and couldn’t wish for a better backroom team. We’re a close knit group and we work hard together and hopefully we achieve what we can, like we did last season".
