LLANDUDNO manager Sean Eardley has made three more additions to his squad for his first season at the helm.

The former Caernarfon Town boss has wasted no time in stamping his mark on the set-up since the bombshell move, and he has secured the services of former Northwich Victoria skipper John Bennett.

The player arrives at Maesdu Park having had a frustrating time with injury in recent seasons, and Eardley is hoping he can get a new lease of life during his time with the club.

He said: “He’s played at a good level in England and became captain at Northwich Vics at a young age which tells me he’s a good leader and after speaking to him regularly he’s excited to get going.

“We are working closely with him due to a previous knee injury, but I’m excited about him integrating in the group, he knows most of the lads and he’ll be a good fit for the group going forward.”

Tudno also confirmed the loan signings of talented youngsters Josh Allen and Max Moore from JD Cymru Premier champions Connah’s Quay Nomads.

The duo were part of the Nomads’ U19 side that won the development league last term and they make the move after penning their first-team contracts with Andy Morrison’s men.

“Josh is a commanding centre half, and when you have the likes of George Horan to look up too on a daily basis you know you’re going to improve session by session,” added Eardley.

“We have experience here too, and overall we’re happy we can play a part in Josh’s development both as a player and as a person.

“Max is an exciting attacking midfielder who loves to get on the ball and likes to make things happen. I believe he’ll cope with the youth-adult football transition with no problems at all.”
