LLANDUDNO are set to bolster their squad with the signing of Morgan Owen from Colwyn Bay.

Manager Sean Eardley is wasting no time making adjustments to his squad following his shock return to the club from Caernarfon Town, and Owen will now be given the chance to establish himself as part of the first team set-up at Maesdu Park.

The midfielder is no stranger to his new surroundings, having come through the club’s Academy system before making the move to the Seagulls’ last summer.

Owen made 14 appearances for the Bay, mainly as a substitute, but his progress was hampered by injury during the early stages of the campaign.

The player was then loaned out to Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One side Glan Conwy during the second half of the season to get some much-needed minutes under his belt.

The talented youngster performed well for Howard Vaughan’s men as they marked their first season back at third-tier level This is formally the third player that has agreed to join Eardley’s Llandudno revolution.

The Pioneer revealed earlier this week that former Caernarfon duo Gareth Evans and Mike Pearson will both make their respective returns to the club, which is set to be confirmed in the coming days.

This is the latest in what is set to be a busy summer of activity at Tudno as they look to transform their fortunes next season after a difficult two seasons.

They recently lost forward Cory Williams, who has reportedly agreed a deal with Caernarfon Town, and defender Lewis Sirrell joined Colwyn Bay last week.
