WAUNFAWR booked their place in the Bob Owen Memorial Shield third round thanks to a 4-1 home rout over Llangoed.
The Gwynedd League rivals had to deal with gale forced winds throughout the tie as Storm Jorge swept through the region, but the hosts coped better during the opening exchanges and went ahead on 14 minutes through a Jac Evans strike.
This was met by a swift reaction from the away side, who restored parity to the score-line when Wayne Thomas found the net with 34 on the clock.
Meurig Parry had a huge say in the tie late in the first half to put the home side ahead for a second time on 43 minutes, and the same played was on hand to double their advantage following the interval with 49 gone.
The tie was settled on 66 minutes when Dylan Hughes found himself in some space and made no mistake with the finish.
Trearddur Bay Bulls produced a ruthless display in front of goal to secure a 6-2 home success over Llandudno Amateurs Reserves in the NWCFA Junior Cup third round.
Justin Williams was the star of the show for the home side, producing a clinical display that resulted in a superb hat-trick.
Iolo Jones, Gwion Owen and Dave Webb also managed to find the net for the hosts to seal their passage to the next round.
The visitors did have something to show for their efforts, with Ben Williams and Matty Roberts firing in consolations.
