PORTHMADOG rounded off a busy month of transfer activity with two deadline day signings.
The JD Cymru North outfit confirmed the arrival of pacey forward Jamie McDaid, who arrives following a short spell at Llandudno that was blighted by injury.
Craig Papirnyk has also convinced club legend Richard Harvey to come out of retirement and provide goalkeeping for Paul Pritchard during the remainder of the campaign.
McDaid boasts a wealth of experience at numerous clubs across the region, which includes prolific spells at Holyhead Hotspur, Caernarfon Town and Holywell Town.
Port now have a formidable front line following the recent signings of Cai Jones, Shaun Cavanagh and Josh Davies as they look to avoid relegation from the second tier.
Former Welsh College international Harvey enjoyed a glittering career with the club before retirement and was recently appointed as a director before deciding to make a surprise return to the squad.
Papirnyk, said: “Paul will be absent for a few games before the end of the season and we all know Harvey and the quality he has, Rich has been training for a couple of months for us now and looking as sharp as ever.
“Jamie is another who is familiar to most around the north Wales football scene, on his day Jamie has great attacking attributes and will be an asset for us in the remaining games this season. Jamie will come in and bolster the numbers within the squad.
“It has been a busy month for us recruiting and strengthening the squad, we have 12 massive games now until the end of the season where we need to pick up as many points as we can.
“I am confident in the ability this team has but we need to make it happen now as a group.”
