A SENSATIONAL display from Conor Davies enabled Glan Conwy to move second with a 6-1 home rout over Llanberis.

The newly promoted side have enjoyed a phenomenal Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One campaign to date and moved one point ahead of Denbigh Town having played four games more following their latest triumph.

Davies wasted no time in making an impact on proceedings with the opener after just two minutes, and he was on hand to double their advantage with another well-taken chance with 22 on the clock.

The home side were rampant throughout the first period much to the benefit of Davies, who notched his hat trick soon after when he broke clear and finished well on 27 minutes.

This was swiftly followed by another which came through Davies’ fourth of the afternoon on 32 minutes, but the visitors did manage a consolation just before the break when Arwyn Price turned in a chance with five remaining of the half.

After the break saw the hosts reaffirm their dominance and restore their four-goal cushion on 70 minutes when Davies despatched yet another opportunity in clinical fashion to take his tally for the game to five.

There was still time for the home side to rub further salt into Beris’ wounds, with Adrian Boyle adding his name to the score-sheet in style on 75 minutes to complete the scoring.

Howard Vaughan’s side have more than exceeded expectations so far this term, winning ten and drawing three of their opening 19 league games.
