TREARDURR Bay Bulls regained their advantage at the Gwynedd League summit thanks to an emphatic 9-0 rout at Llannerchymedd.

The title hopefuls turned in another clinical display that saw them emerge as comfortable victors, with goals from Gwynfor Owen and Tom Verburg on 25 and 37 minutes giving the visitors a comfortable advantage at the break.

It was one-way traffic after the interval in favour of the away side, who extended their cushion further on 49 minutes through a Dylan Williams strike, and quick-fire efforts from Justin Williams and Verburg also hit the target on 52 and 55 respectively.

This was swiftly followed by another courtesy of Mark Gamblin on 65 minutes, and another impressive attack presented a chance that was successfully converted by George Hibbert with 75 on the clock.

There was still time for the away side to rub further salt into the visitors’ wounds, with Justin Williams and Owen securing their braces in the final ten minutes to complete the scoring.

Nefyn United also achieved an eye-catching three points with a 4-0 home success over defending champions Menai Bridge Tigers.

The home side got their noses in front on 20 minutes when Steve Jones finished well, and a standout display in the second period saw Carl Jones, Llyr Williams and Tomos Jones all hit the target to move United into third.

Goals from Dylan Williams and Nick Williams were enough for Llangoed to emerge from their home contest against Waunfawr with a 2-1 triumph, with Josh Evans and Ryan Jones trading first half strikes in Caergybi’s 1-1 home draw with Bro Goronwy.
