THE Anglesey League domestic cup action continued on Saturday afternoon as competitions begin to take shape.

In the second round of the Digital Elias Cup, Cemaes Bay progressed with a 5-1 win over Llanfairpwll. Despite the visitors being 1-0 up at half time through Owain Davies, Darren Thomas' side came out on top in the second half thanks to goals from Lewis Connor (2), Steven Whittaker, Dafydd Jones and Daniel Jones.

Mountain Rangers are also through after a hard-fought 3-1 victory at Holyhead Town Reserves.

Robert Thomas scored for the home team, but Sam Williams was at the double and Cian Davies-Hughes also bagged to send Rangers through.

In the second round of the Lucas Oil Cup, Valley enjoyed a slender 1-0 win over Pentraeth Reserves - Tudur Williams with the goal.

In the Anglesey League itself, a Ben Wright brace alongside goals from Gwion Williams and Kyle Williams handed Cefni a 4-0 win over Llandegfan.
