Maty Ryan offered a reminder of his sharp reflexes as Australia took another step towards the next World Cup.
The Albion keeper produced a super save in the latter stages to secure a hard earned 1-0 win away to Jordan.
The Socceroos came under pressure as they defended the early lead given them by Adam Taggart.
Ryan made a superb low save down to his left to push away Hamza Al-Dardoor’s header from point-blank range.

There was some confusion as to whether the goal would have stood as the flag went up but Ryan took no chances.
Albion midfielder Aaron Mooy played the full game as Australia enjoyed their first ever away win over Jordan.
