TREARDDUR Bay Bulls remain top of the Gwynedd League despite being held to a 2-2 home draw by Nefyn United.

The visitors got off to the best possible start when Dylan Sion Jones put them ahead after just two minutes, but they were pegged back through a Tom Hadley effort with 27 gone.

United regained the advantage after the break when Gethin Trenholme converted a chance on 65 minutes, only for Hadley to fire in his second of the afternoon with three remaining to salvage a share of the spoils.

A sensational fightback saw defending champions Menai Bridge Tigers close the gap to three points with a sensational 3-2 triumph at Waunfawr.

First half goals from Adam Jones and Guto Llewelyn gave the home side a comfortable cushion at the break, but three strikes in quick succession from Kelvin Frazer (72), Callum Davidson (75) and Kevin Roberts (82) saw the visitors secure a vital victory.

A hat-trick from Morgan Roberts was the highlight of Bontnewydd’s 5-1 rout at Bethesda Athletic, with Jac Thomas hitting a brace for Bro Goronwy in their 3-1 home success against Caergybi.

Two goals apiece from Sam Gregson and Llion Roberts played a leading role in Llangoed’s 5-1 victory at Ogwen Tigers, and Llanystumdwy picked up their third win of the season as efforts from Darren Parry (2), Sion Pierce, Gethin Owen and Mark Godfrey gave them a 5-1 home triumph over Glantraeth.
