BETHESDA’s exceptional start to the Specsavers National League Division One North season continued with a 22-10 victory at struggling Denbigh.

After the interval saw the away side continue to dominate thanks to some impressive phases, which brought their third score on 50 minutes when a sensational solo run from Griffiths saw him touch down for his second of the afternoon.

Credit to the hosts, they kept plugging away and got a consolation try in fine style thanks to a superb individual run from Gruff Roberts, which he also converted.

They could only manage a penalty thereafter, with Owen securing the win late on with his second try.

Llangefni also picked up a positive result thanks to a 26-7 bonus point home win over Bala, with Pwllheli making light work of Bro Ffestiniog in a comfortable 44-3 success.

Dolgellau were unable to topple league-leading Ruthin in a 24-5 reverse on their travels, and Division Two North outfit Bangor were on the wrong end of a 29-0 drubbing at Colwyn Bay.
