MENAI Bridge Tigers produced their best attacking performance of the season to secure a 6-0 home win over Llannerchymedd.
The defending Gwynedd League champions remain second in the standings following their latest success, which saw them go ahead on four minutes when Dave Baston found the net.
They doubled their tally on 23 minutes through Callum Davidson and trebled their tally through an unfortunate own goal with 27 on the clock.
A fine strike from Kelvin Frazer gave the Tigers an unassailable lead at the break, and they continued this trend throughout the second period with goals from Baston and Kevin Roberts to complete the rout.
Bontnewydd now occupy fourth spot after a thrilling 5-4 home triumph over Talysarn Celts thanks to strikes from Morgan Roberts, Josh Roberts, Matthew Roberts and Cai Perry-Williams (2), with Luke Baum firing a treble for the visitors that came to nothing.
A solitary finish from Jordan Edney on 18 minutes was enough to give Bro Goronwy a 1-0 home victory over Ogwen Tigers, and goals from Rhodri Owen (2), Elis Povey, Adam Jones and Meurig Parry gave resurgent Waunfawr a comfortable 5-2 win over Caergybi.
Wayne Thomas’ two-goal salvo was the highlight of Llangoed’s eye-catching 3-2 success at Glantraeth, with Shaun Morris and Darren Parry hit a brace apiece for Bethesda Athletic and Llanystumdwy in a dramatic clash that ended 4-4.
