BANGOR 1876 hit twelve goals in their latest Gwynedd League victory to make it ten wins in a row in all competitions.

The club maintained its 100% record and claimed its biggest win yet with a crushing 12-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Llanerchymedd at Treborth on Tuesday night.

The deadlock was broken on 15 minutes when fans favourite Les Davies sent his curling effort into the top corner.

Two minutes later, Jamie Petrie doubled their lead, before goals from Dylan Summers-Jones and Dafydd Thomas added on each to make it 4-0 at the break.

It was the second half that truly showcased 1876's dominance however as eight more goals followed thanks to a dominant display.

They came flying out of the blocks as Petrie fired in his side's fifth immediately after the restart and Davies added his second goal of the game just after the hour mark with a header to make it six without reply.

Three minutes later, Petrie completed his hat-trick and reached 17 goals for the campaign with a great finish. Josh Lloyd-Jones made it eight when he made a fine run before finishing well.

Summers-Jones completed his treble with a header and a good finish to make it double figures on 76 minutes, but 1876 were still not done.

Lloyd-Jones added his second goal and Summers-Jones bagged his fourth and 15th for the term to complete an emphatic scoreline and a stunning performance.

1876 remain in third place in the Gwynedd League on 18 points, but have three games in hand over front-runners Menai Tigers and Trearddur Bay Bulls.
