The Journal understands that Fleming told City manager Daniel Brewerton of his decision last week, and he will now join former Saints’ teammates Jake Walker and John Terry in Dewi Llion’s squad.

Fleming, who is also a gifted cricketer, has been a hugely influential member of the line-up over a prolonged period of time and his departure is a significant blow.
