CPD Y Fali have moved to the top of the Anglesey League table after two results went their way over the weekend.

Having seen title-chasing duo Cemaes Bay (Steven Whittaker and Keenan Downey) and Mountain Rangers (Terry Watkinson and Sam Williams) draw 2-2 on Friday night, Dan Jones' side knew they had the chance to top the table heading into their match against Pentraeth Reserves on Saturday.

And they did just that with a resounding 6-1 victory at Cae Mwd. Paul Williams and Casey Boylan were at the double and Tudur Williams and Jerome Sillence hit one each as the home side ran riot to move them to the top. Sam Hennessey hit a late consolation for The Reserves.

Elsewhere, Holyhead Town Reserves and Llandegfan picked up their first points of the season against one another in a thrilling 4-4 draw. The home side found themselves 2-0 up early on through Luke Miles and Joe Owen but a double from Rob Boyes pulled Llandegfan back into the game.

The visitors were then 3-2 up through a Paul Jones free-kick which went in under the wall but that lasted just seconds before an unfortunate own goal made it 3-3. Former Llandeg man Ryan Hughes then came back to haunt them with a fine finish for 4-3 before Kieran Fritter ensured the points were shared with a long range free kick.

Arriva Bangor picked up their second win of the season with a crushing 8-3 win at home to Cefni. Scott Hughes (5), Reece Thompson, Dion Williams and Darren Edmonds bagging for The Busmen. Andrew Davies (2) and Dave Jones on target for Cefni.

Hotspur Reserves moved to fourth after a 3-2 win at Bodorgan. Sam Hallas and Luke Allaway (Penalty) scored for the home side but a Casey Gregg goal and a Cameron Eaton double handed Tom Scott's side victory.
