This will be followed by a crunch third round clash against a powerful French outfit on Friday, February 21, and the Bay base also gets the chance to host Wales’ final Six Nations fixture against Scotland on March 13.

The fixtures attract thousands of rugby fans from across the country to the North Wales area, which has proved to be a valuable asset both for the region’s economy and the overall interest in the sport.

Stadiwm Zip World has been the home ground of Indigo Group Premiership side RGC 1404 since their inception and boasts some of the best sporting facilities anywhere in the country.

A recent 4G surface has proved to be a very welcome addition to the venue’s overall offering, with the Gogs’ also heavily involved with community relations in a bid to increase participation in both male and female athletes.

Ben Morell, Six Nations CEO, said: “The Under-20s is a hugely enjoyable competition for everyone involved.

“It’s first and foremost a fantastic opportunity for the most promising young players in Europe to represent their country.

“It is also incredibly popular with fans, both those attending live and those watching on TV and that’s down to the quality of rugby and particularly the skill levels we see in every match.

“We look forward to another brilliant U20s Championship in 2020.”
