TWO new teams will be joining the Anglesey League for the 2019/20 season.

Mountain Rangers and Holyhead Town Reserves were welcomed into the division by the other clubs at the annual AGM held last Friday night.

They will join Arriva Bangor, Bodorgan, Caergybi, Cefni, Cemaes Bay, Holyhead Hotspur Reserves, Llandegfan, Llanfairpwll, Pentraeth Reserves and Valley to make up a twelve team league.

2018/19 champions Bryngwran Bulls have been promoted to the Gwynedd League.

Mountain Rangers football club based in Rhosgadfan, near Caernarfon, has not had a men's team since folding in 2012.

However, it holds a respected history - with scenes from S4C's well-known football-related series' 'C'mon Midffild' being filmed there.

Holyhead Town Reserves will be looking to repeat the heroics of the first team, who won the Anglesey League in 2016/17 and now play in the Welsh Alliance.

Both sides have signed up for the 2019/20 season of the Anglesey League - which will be the last time we see it in its current form.
