ARRIVA BANGOR made it three cups in two Anglesey League seasons by re-claiming the Benllech Car Boot Trophy on Friday night.
The Busmen beat League champions Bryngwran Bulls 3-2 after Extra Time thanks to a Darren Edmunds strike and a brace from top scorer Scott Hughes who ends the season on 60 goals.
The memorable win meant that Kevin Jones' side have now won three pieces of silverware (1x Elias Cup and 2x Benllech Car Boot Trophy) since joining the division in the summer of 2017.
Following the victory at Llanfairpwll last Friday, manager Jones said he was "very proud" of his side as they had "battled hard" for the win.
Despite the loss, it hasn't been a bad season for The Bulls during 2018/19 either. Richard Owen's team have won the league itself and the Elias Cup too.
