CONWY Borough have bolstered their squad with the signing of Tomos Clarke.
After the Pioneer initially reported the news, the Tangerines have now officially announced the signing of the Holyhead Hotspur star to boost their Tier Two North prospects next season.
Clarke was one of the bright lights in an otherwise disappointing season for the Holy Islanders, who were relegated from the Huws Gray Alliance after finishing bottom of the standings.
He arrived at Darren Garmey’s side from Glantraeth, where he was managed by current Borough director of football Warren Gibbs.
The versatile left-footer began his career as a trainee at Oldham Athletic and also lists Colwyn Bay and Porthmadog among his former clubs.
Clarke’s arrival is a further boost to the Y Morfa side, who have a new management team in place and have got influential members of the current squad to commit for the upcoming campaign.
Director Kurtis Chapman, said: “The club are really pleased to be bringing in another talented North Wales player.
“He has played at a high standard from a young age and will be valuable addition to the squad.”
