BRO GORONWY are this year's winners of the North Wales Coast Football Association Junior Cup after beating Anglesey League side Bryngwran Bulls 3-1 in the final on Saturday.
Gwynedd League side Bro were crowned champions of the prestigious competition for a third time, having previously won it in 1986/87 and 2016/17.
The tournament includes teams from the Anglesey League, Gwynedd League and both Vale of Clwyd and Conwy leagues and has been running since 1896.
After a closely-fought start to the game in Bethesda which saw chances falling to both sides, it was Bro who eventually took the lead on the half hour mark. A well-worked corner found midfielder Taylor Jones in space and he made no mistake, firing his side into a 1-0 lead.
Bro goalkeeper Johnny Sweetser was on top form to deny Matty Roberts an equaliser soon after that, palming his effort round the post and out.
In the second half, Bro doubled their advantage when lively winger Callum Thomas' curling effort beat Bulls keeper Konner Druce all ends up.
There was a glimmer of hope for The Bulls late on when top scorer Craig Moore pulled one back via a brilliant free kick which he fired into the bottom corner.
However, Bro captain Dylan Jones put the game to bed five minutes from time when he rose highest from a corner to head home for 3-1 and hand his side a famous victory.
