DALE MOFFAT'S Caergybi side leapfrogged Bryngwran Bulls and Arriva Bangor into pole position in the Anglesey League with a 4-2 victory against Valley on Saturday.
With the other two sides playing in the final, Cybi took advantage and moved to the top of the table on 42 points.
Striker James Ryan took his goal tally for the season to an incredible 70 goals by hitting yet another brace and returning forward Justin Williams also hit two. Paul Williams and Anthony Parry had scored for Valley.
Llanfairpwll's 0-0 draw at Holyhead Hotspur Reserves (who still have on game remaining), sees them finish in seventh place on 25 points.
Meanwhile, Pentraeth Reserves finish the season in eighth on 21 points after winning both their and Cemaes Bay's last fixture 3-2. A goal from top scorer Kenny Williams and a Nathan Jones brace completed a turnaround after Dafydd Jones and Gavin Edwards had scored for The Bay, who finish the campaign in ninth place on 20 points.
Midweek league fixtures taking place on Wednesday are: Bryngwran Bulls v Llandegfan, Cefni v Arriva Bangor and Caergybi v Hotspur Reserves (all 6.30pm ko)
