A CAERNARFON restaurant will host a former Wales and British Lions rugby legend for a special event later this month.

Sam Warburton, who enjoyed a trophy laden career as part of the Welsh national side, will be the special guest of honour at a fundraising event put on by the Copa Bar and Diner, which is owned by Gwyndaf Jones.

The event, which will take place on Wednesday, April 17, will be raising money for rugby clubs across the region and will also be attended by former Swansea City midfielder and current Sgorio pundit Owain Tudor Jones, who has been confirmed as MC for the evening.

Another notable attendee at the fundraiser will be Caernarfon Town Football Club manager Sean Eardley, who will host a special question and answer session with those in attendance.

A limited number of VIP tickets are still available at £70, which includes a meet and greet with Warburton, three course meal and two front row tables.

It also includes a photo opportunity with the recently retired forward, and there will also be a signed Welsh rugby shirt auctioned off to further boost the fundraising total.

Standard tickets are priced at £50 with the three-course meal included, and there will be live music at the event courtesy of Phil Gas ar Band.
