ARRIVA BANGOR moved to the top of the Anglesey League table with an 8-0 win at Llandegfan on Saturday.

In a game that was much closer than the scoreline had suggested, The Busmen found themselves 1-0 up after four minutes when top scorer Scott Hughes bagged. Then, a stunner from Luke Lloyd and a close range finish from Matthew Williams made it 3-0 at half time.

A dominant second half display saw Kevin Jones' side bag five more goals via Hughes again, Danny Camilleri, Darren Edmunds, Liam Roberts and Nathan Roberts.

Arriva now sit top of the league on 41 points with three games to go, with Bryngwran Bulls in second on 40 points and Caergybi in third on 39.

Elsewhere, Bryngwran Bulls and Caergybi made it to the prestigious Dargie Cup final with wins over Pentraeth Reserves and Cefni respectively.

The Bulls came away from The Reserves with a 3-2 win thanks to goals from Mark Hamblin, Nik Kontodios and Matty Roberts. Cybi beat Cefni 2-1 with goals from James Ryan and Marcus Bell.
