LLANFAIRPWLL made it three wins on the trot in the Anglesey League as they beat Pentraeth Reserves.

Llanfair came out on top as 2-1 winners when the two sides met at Bryniau Fields on Saturday afternoon.

Sion Emlyn Davies had fired the visitors in front before Reserves captain Tom Jones equalised after the break. The winner came just seconds later though, when Steve Smith, who is now in his fourth separate spell with Llanfair, returned to poke home.

The victory moved Llanfair up to seventh place in the table on 21 points and followed on from a 4-1 win against Llandegfan and an impressive 3-1 victory over Caergybi last week.

Elsewhere, Valley and Bodorgan played out an intense 5-5 draw. Paul Williams (2), Marc Wilson, Andrew Bailey and Jack Peters were on target for the home side but Bod striker Luke Allaway returned from a spell at Aberffraw to hit a brace and Aron Edwards, Ashley Jones and Sam Hallas were also on target as Dave Webster's side claimed a precious point.

Anglesey League top scorer James Ryan bagged yet another hat-trick as Caergybi cruised to a 7-0 win against Cemaes Bay.

The in-form striker took his tally for the season to 58 goals, whilst George Hibbert (2), Nathan Williams and Gary Jo Owen, who returned to the club from Holyhead Town last week, were also on the scoresheet for Dale Moffat's side.
