ONLY two Anglesey League games managed to withstand the torrential rain on Saturday afternoon.
Cemaes Bay v Caergybi, Llandegfan v Arriva Bangor and Bryngwran Bulls v Valley were called off due to waterlogged pitches.
Llanfairpwll's game v Pentraeth Reserves went ahead though and it was the home team who came out on top with a surprising 6-0 victory.
Three points at Maes Eilian for Llanfair meant that they leapfrogged the Reserves into ninth place in the table, where they are now sitting one point above them on 10 points.
Elsewhere, Cefni maintained their fine run of form with a 3-1 win over Holyhead Hotspur Reserves.
Playing on the recently-opened 3G pitch in Llangefni, goals from Grahame Jones, Ben Wright and Gary Winnard cancelled out Casey Gregg's strike for Hotspur.
