LLANRUG United manager David Noel-Williams has been acknowledged for his side’s recent form with an award.

The player-boss, who took over at the helm this summer, has enjoyed a standout first few months in the role and he received the Queensferry Sports Welsh Alliance Division One Manager of the Month for November thanks to a sensational run that sees them right in contention for multiple honours.

Noel Williams joined the club in August 2006 after spells with Caernarfon Town, Porthmadog, Glantraeth, Llangefni Town and Bethesda Athletic.

He has made more than 400 appearances in 13 seasons for the third-tier side, scoring close to 200 goals from the midfield position and winning no fewer than 36 player of the match awards before the start of the current campaign.

He continues to be an influential presence both on and off the pitch, and he recently found the net for his side during their hugely impressive victory over Llanfair United in the FAW Trophy.

The ambitious side find themselves just two points behind leaders Llangefni Town after ending their 17-match unbeaten run last week, with Greenfield, Barmouth and Dyffryn United, St Asaph City and Prestatyn Sports all upcoming over the busy festive fixture list.
