THE semi finalists for the Dargie Cup have been decided following a weekend of Anglesey League action.

On Saturday, Caergybi, Cefni and Pentraeth Reserves progressed to join Bryngwran Bulls and make up the tournament's final four.

The Bulls beat Cemaes 3-0 some weeks ago to book their place but the other three teams had to wait till this weekend to get their chance.

Caergybi progressed by beating local rivals Holyhead Hotspur Reserves 1-0 thanks to a goal from top-scorer James Ryan.

Cefni also claimed a 1-0 win, at home to Bodorgan - Philip Davies with the only goal of the game.

Pentraeth Reserves shocked Arriva Bangor 3-2 to progress to the semi final stage. Goals from Bradley Pickavance, Peter Crowe and Jack Halton cancelled out strikes from Scott Hughes and Danny Camilleri for the visitors as Danny Jones' side marched on into the next round.

In the Anglesey League, Bryngwran Bulls moved six points clear at the top of the table following a 4-2 victory at Cemaes Bay.

Goals from Ioan Thomas, Jerome Sillence (penalty) and Matty Roberts put the visitors in control before half time. Ryan Rowlands then pulled one back for Cemaes before a Nik Kontodios free-kick put Bryngwran 4-1 up. A late Dafydd Jones penalty completed the scoreline.
