LLANDUDNO Albion secured derby day bragging rights with a 3-0 win at Llandudno Junction.

The Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One title hopefuls turned in a polished display against the spirited basement dwellers, and after a cagey first period Dan Evans was on hand to put the visitors ahead after 54 minutes.

Evans added to his tally soon after with another well-taken finish with 58 gone, and Darren Jones’ side finally saw off the Railwaymen eight minutes from time when Peter Jones rounded off the scoring in fine style.

Llanrwst United continued their resurgence thanks to a 2-0 home triumph over Penrhyndeudraeth.

The Rwsters had to wait until the second period to break the deadlock when Steffan Whiteley hit the target after 61 minutes, and they managed to secure three points with 80 on the clock when Leon Doran’s fierce drive doubled their advantage.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix extended their recent unbeaten streak with an eye-catching 6-1 victory at Amlwch Town.

The in-form side produced a scintillating attacking display that was the catalyst behind their success, with the father-son duo of Mike and Benn Lundstram combining for four of the six goals during the contest.

Jordan Naylor and Tom Price also helped themselves to efforts for Phoenix, who now sit in eighth position in the standings.

There was no such luck for Mochdre Sports, who had a solitary Kai Davies goal to show from their disappointing 5-1 loss at Aberffraw.
