BANGOR City begin their quest for further JD Welsh Cup success when they host Mold Alexandra at the first round stage.

Citizens’ boss Craig Harrison won the competition multiple times with The New Saints of Oswestry Town and will be hoping for more of the same from his talented squad against an Alex side that have enjoyed a fine start to the season.

Holyhead Town will be aiming to cause another stir when they travel to Denbigh Town, with Holyhead Hotspur aiming to avoid a banana skin during their home tie with Danny Jellicoe and Tom Mutton’s Corwen.

Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division One leaders Llangefni Town are also on home soil against Borth United, and Nantlle Vale have been handed the task of trying to overcome cup giant-killers Llandudno Amateurs on their travels.

Second tier side Porthmadog make the short trip to Pwllheli in what is expected to draw a large crowd, and perhaps the tie of the round sees Conwy Borough welcome Rhyl.
