KINMEL Bay’s impressive start to life in Lock Stock Welsh Alliance Division Two continued with a resounding 4-0 home rout over Llannerchymedd.

The newly promoted side made light work of their opponent thanks in no small part to a dazzling second half display, and they moved up to sixth position in the standings ahead of their trip to Amlwch Town on Saturday.

A tense opening to the contest saw Bay missed a host of opportunities to gain an advantage throughout the first period, but they finally broke the deadlock after the break when Ryan Hassett fired home from the penalty spot on 55 minutes following an infringement.

This seemed to open the floodgates and the home side doubled their advantage soon after when György Szabó produced a wonderful effort after 64 minutes after another good period of possession, and they all-but sealed the three points with Kie Ellis burst clear before slotting home with 78 on the clock.

Last season’s top scorer in their Vale of Clwyd and Conwy League Premier Division winning campaign had the final say, and the recent re-signing from Prestatyn Town fired in his second of the contest to round off another accomplished display with six minutes of the 90 remaining.
