THE Anglesey League fixtures continued and the tie that was expected to be the "game of the weekend" certainly didn't fail to disappoint.

Caergybi handed Bryngwran Bulls their first defeat of the season with a stunning 6-4 victory. Despite the visitors being 2-0 up, Dale Moffat's side fought back to earn themselves a memorable win at Millbank.

Former Bulls striker James Ryan hit a hat-trick against his former side whilst Liam and Justin Williams and Dave Webb completed the scoreline. Cybi goalkeeper Kieran Weeks was also superb throughout.

Bryngwran scorers were Craig Moore, Matty Roberts, Matt Reynolds and Dan Williams. The visitors also missed two penalties in a game where they were left to rue their chances.

Another shock took place on Saturday, when Cemaes Bay beat high-flying Arriva Bangor 3-1.

Goals from Liam Rodriguez, Chris Hughes and Liam Dhillon handed Darren Hughes' side a surprising win over the Anglesey League title chasers. Liam Roberts with a consolation goal for Arriva in this one.

Elsewhere, Bodorgan picked up their second win of the season over Llandegfan, who are still looking for their first.

Some poor defending from the visitors saw Bod race into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Nathan Evans, Luke Allaway and Luke Gardiner. Cerwyn Griffith pulled one back for Llandeg but another strike from Allaway early on in the second half ensured victory for the home side.

Meanwhile, Valley were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Pentraeth Reserves. The visitors had led twice through Gwynfor Owen but goals from Mike Williams and Barry Haigh saw the two sides share the points.

Finally, Llanfairpwll's poor run continued with a 4-1 loss at home to Holyhead Hotspur Reserves. Shaun Morris scored a penalty for the home side but a brace each from Casey Gregg and Martin McClymont ensured victory for Mike Kelly's side.
