THE Lucas Oil Anglesey League is now well and truly in full swing as it headed into its second month of action over the weekend.

Arriva Bangor bounced back from a loss against Caergybi and a draw with Bryngwran Bulls by beating Llanfairpwll 3-2. The visitors goals scored by Steven Hughes and Dion Taylor were not enough as Liam Roberts, Liam Jones and Darren Edmunds handed Kevin Jones' side the three points.

Bryngwran Bulls stretched their great start to the season even further with a 3-1 victory over Bodorgan. Former Bulls player Nathan Evans netted for the visitors but a Craig Moore double and a header from Konner Druce ensured victory for the home side.

Elsewhere, Cefni continued their impressive run of late by grabbing all three points at Cemaes Bay thanks to a Huw Allen goal.

Pentraeth Reserves came away with an impressive 3-2 victory against Holyhead Hotspur Reserves who had been flying in previous games. Mike Kelly and Ben Hamilton scored for the home side but the determined Pentraeth team earned the win thanks to goals from Kenny Williams (2) and Tom Jones.

Finally, despite a much better performance than that of late, Llandegfan couldn't force a result against Valley, as they fell to a 5-1 loss at home. Dale Rowlands bagged late on for Llandeg after Mike Williams (2), Andrew Bailey, James Williams and Ashley Hughes had put the visitors in control of the game.
