IT WAS a case of games galore in the Anglesey League over Bank Holiday weekend as some teams played twice in three days.

On Saturday, league leaders Bryngwran Bulls ran riot at Pentraeth with a 10-2 win. Craig Moore (4), Jerome Sillence (2), Matty Roberts, Matt Reynolds, Sion Davies and Ioan Thomas securing an emphatic win. Pentraeth's goals came via Tom Jones and Matt Williams.

Caergybi came from 2-0 down to beat Arriva Bangor 5-2. Goals from Matty Jones and Mark Williams had put Kevin Jones' side in control, however, a stunning comeback in the last ten minutes turned the game on its head. The visitors goals were scored by Gary Jo Owen (2), Jordie Lees, James Ryan and Justin Williams.

Valley came from behind three times to draw 3-3 with Cefni. Shane Boylan, Mike Williams and a Lee Lewis own goal ensure a point for the home side, after Gary Winnard, Gwynfor Davies and Paul Jones had put Cefni ahead.

Cemaes picked up their first three points with a 4-0 away to Llanfairpwll. Striker Ryan Rowlands bagged four in a memorable win for them.

Holyhead Hotspur Reserves came away 2-0 winners from Bodorgan thanks to goals from Simon Davies and Owain Roberts.

The Dargie Cup kicked off on Monday and it was Cefni, Caergybi and Holyhead Hotspur Reserves who progressed to the next round.

Caergybi enjoyed the biggest win of the day, hammering Llandegfan 12-1. Gary Jo Owen hit six goals, James Ryan hit a hat-trick and Justin Williams, Dave Webb and Luke McKittrick all added one goal each.

Cefni beat Llanfairpwll 3-1 thanks to goals from Lee Lewis, Ben Wright and Paul Jones.

Holyhead Hotspur Reserves beat Valley 4-2 on penalties after their game had finished 3-3 after Extra Time.

In the Anglesey League games on Monday, Arriva Bangor drew 2-2 with Bryngwran Bulls and the same scoreline also took place between Cemaes Bay and Pentraeth Reserves.
