A club statement, said: “Chris has plenty of experience of winning trophies in Wales. His ambition and desire is no different coming to Bangor City.

“Chris is relishing the new challenge and cannot wait to get going.”

There was further good news for the second-tier side after the club confirmed a new sponsorship deal with north west civil engineering firm EUROGOLD.

The five-figure deal will see the company’s logo on the City kit for the current campaign, with an option for a second year also in place.

General Manager Luke Purcell, said: "We have had a number of enquiries for our main shirt sponsor.

“However, after meeting with the EUROGOLD representatives it was clear that this was the right move for the club. We agreed a deal which we are absolutely delighted with.”
