NORTH Wales Police are investigating after thieves broke into an outbuilding in Holyhead and stole power tools.

Sometime between 7am, Saturday, November 11 and 1.30pm Saturday, November 25, thieves broke into an outbuilding that was being renovated in Caergeiliog.

They stole a quality of power tools including a 240 Volt Makita Sliding Chop saw, Bosh 4KiloSus+ 240 Volt Drill and a Hilti SusMax 110 Volt Drill.

The Hilti drill is well used, the Chopsaw is missing a dustbag and has a distinctive mark on the metal guard. The blade is brand new.

Investigating officer PC Lois Owen, at Holyhead Police Station, said: "We’ve recently established the exact details of the tools stolen including catalogue photographs of the exact type.

"I am keen to hear any information about anyone selling power tools locally as well as from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or activity in the area at the time of the break-in. I’m also asking local businesses and communities to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.

"It is also worth reminding the community to ensure their property is always locked and secured or kept out of sight.”
