North Wales police are investigating after a man was assaulted by two men in Llandygai, near Bangor.

The incident happened adjacent to the forecourt of the ‘One Stop’ garage at approximately 12.45pm, on Friday, January 12.

The man was left with serious, but not life threatening or changing injuries.

Moments before he was attacked the man and his assailants were involved in a minor road traffic collision on the same garage forecourt between a white Ford Transit and silver Land Rover Defender.

Investigating officer PC Lliwen Jones, at Bangor Police Station, said: "It appears that following a minor collision two men aged in their 40s and 60s, from one vehicle attacked the driver of another vehicle, a local man aged in his 50’s, leaving him with serious injuries.

"This happened during the middle of the day on a busy garage forecourt and despite two local men being arrested we still require witnesses will come forward to help us fill the full picture of exactly what happened."
