'Casualty on the tracks' near Bangor railway station

A CASUALTY on the tracks near Bangor railway station prompted the attendance of emergency services.

The casualty sustained injuries which are not thought to be "life-changing or life-threatening," British Transport Police said.

Rail services have been disrupted in North Wales as a result of this morning's (September 7) incident.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the line near Bangor railway station at 7.34am today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended, and a person was treated for injuries that are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.

"The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
