Teen arrested for drugs offence after Caernarfon stop-search

A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs after a stop-search in Caernarfon.

Officers carried out the stop-search, under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, on Castle Hill yesterday afternoon (July 29).

North Wales Police said a 17-year-old male was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug.

A spokesperson for the force said: “He has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.”
