THE mother of a missing kayaker from Gwynedd has urged people to "keep looking" for her son after his companion's body was found.
Connor Parfitt and Simon Wilson were reported last Tuesday, close to the beach near Hafan-y-Mor, Pwllheli.
Yesterday, North Wales Police confirmed that the body of Connor Parfitt was discovered on a beach in Aberystwyth at the weekend.
However, Simon Wilson has not been found and his mother Sarah Wilson has taken to social media to appeal for help in finding him.
In a social media post, she said: "Please keep a look out for our son Simon Wilson.
"Today is a week since he went missing in the sea with his inflatable kayak, searches have been suspended until he or any belongings have been found, could be along the Welsh coast or even as far as Ireland we have been told, his life jacket could be under his jumper.
"Simon’s friend Connor was found on Sunday,
"My family send our deepest condolences to Connor’s mom and family at this difficult time,
"Please share this as we need closure and Simon home.
Please if anybody sees any items that would have been taken out with him - kayak, grey crocs, orange bag, jumper that’s in the pic, sunglasses, prescription glasses, speaker.
"Cap was found yesterday on Milford Haven coast."
