A POPULAR Welsh language pub in Bangor has temporarily closed after the owners cited "very difficult circumstances".
Tafarn y Glôb, on Albert Street, has announced it would be closing "for a while" and hoped that the closure would only be a temporary one.
A notice written on the door of the premises, in both Welsh and English, informed customers of its sudden closure.

"Hopefully this is a temporary measure while matters are resolved.
"We’ll keep you posted – missing you already.”
The pub did not specify how long the establishment would remain closed for, nor any more information regarding the "very difficult circumstances" which had forced it to shut.
Tafarn y Glôb is one of Bangor’s most well-known Welsh pubs and is popular with locals and students alike.
