A MAN has been charged following an incident in Caernarfon.

Officers attended the Gallt Y Sil area on Friday afternoon (June 12) following reports of a man making threats with a weapon.

Daniel Cook, aged 30, of Gallt Y Sil Estate, Caernarfon, was arrested and later charged.

He appeared at Llandudno Magistrates' Court on June 15 charged with possessing a knife in a public place.

He was remanded in custody and will appear before Llandudno Magistrates' Court for sentencing on June 18.
