A MAN ordered by a court to stay out of part of Tremadog went there and then called the police, a court heard.
Dylan Jones, of Haven Holidays in Pwllheli, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday via video link from HMP Berwyn.
The 30-year-old had previously admitted three offences of breaching a restraining order; which occurred when he entered Isgraig in Tremadog.
Richard Edwards, prosecuting, explained the restraining order made in 2024 prohibited him from entering the area.
But on three occasions this year, police learned he'd been there - the first occurring when he himself called them to report he'd been assaulted.
The second time officers went to the location to find him and the third time came after a 'disturbance' in which CCTV cameras picked up his involvement in a 'physical confrontation' with a female.
In interview, following the first two breaches, he claimed he didn't realise he was subject to the order- but also claimed he was trying to have the terms of it varied.
Def Elen Owen said the first two breaches - which were before police interviewed him and told him he was subject to the order - were "entirely inadvertent."
"He clearly wouldn't have called the police from Isgraig if he knew of this order not to be there," she said.
"It is understandable he could have misunderstood - but certainly not on the third occasion.

"He did then know of the order and was taking steps to get it varied."
Ms Owen added many of the defendant's family members and friends live in the area concerned, and that he "needs to take steps to get the situation regularised so he can carry on living his life."
Judge Nicola Jones handed down an overall final sentence of six weeks, adding that given the defendant had been on remand for the equivalent of two months, he'd likely be released immediately.
