A NUMBER of mobile speed cameras have been set up across Anglesey and Gwynedd this week.
These are published on the Go Safe website, which publishes the locations of all types of speed cameras.
According to members of the GoSafe partnership, which includes the Welsh Government and Wales' emergency services, speeding is one of the "largest contributing factors to collisions" on Welsh roads.
The penalties for caught drivers start with a minimum fine and penalty points on their licence.
Alternatively, under some circumstances, drivers can opt for a Driver Education Course, which comes with a separate charge but does not involve accumulating penalty points.
Go Safe provides an updated full list of mobile speed camera locations on their website.
