THERE were delays at Caernarfon Crown Court today (March 27) after a fire alarm halted proceedings.

Our court reporter said the building was “going through a fire drill and waiting for the system to reset.”

People inside were asked to evacuate as a precaution.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the alarm was a false alert.
