Trains between Holyhead and Bangor 'disrupted' by heavy rain

TRAIN services between Holyhead and Bangor have been disrupted due to heavy rain brought on by Storm Bram.

Transport for Wales said all services between the two stations are being affected by heavy rain.

The operator said this may result in some services being cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Services are expected to be disrupted until around 3pm.

A Transport for Wales spokesperson said: "Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Holyhead and Bangor (Gwynedd) all lines are disrupted.

"Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

"Disruption is expected until 15:00."

Several flood alerts and a flood warning are in place across Anglesey and Gwynedd, as the region faces the brunt of the impact of Storm Bram.
